What has APR done for you lately? We won two Colorado Broadcasters Association awards

Alycin Bektesh

This spring, Aspen Public Radio was awarded two Colorado Broadcasters Association awards for news coverage.

One was for the feature on Conundrum Hot Springs and the other was for the series on Pitkin County Landfill.

“Public radio is unique in that we can offer in-depth reporting from a variety of perspectives,” environment reporter Elizabeth Stewart-Severy said. “ It’s not a sexy topic, but the landfill series dove into environmental concerns, industry challenges and even how the next generation is learning about waste.”
